PARKING AT METERS
On and off street meters and time-limit areas are designed and regulated to promote turnover of parking spaces. The RPA provides meters for both short and long term parking. The meter head color identifies the length of time the meter provides. Tan and green headed meters are for two and four hour parking, black headed meters provide up to eight hours of parking and meters with red heads provide up to sixteen hours of parking. 1 token in a 12 hr meter gives 16 hours
METER OPERATION
The two, four and eight hour meters give one hour of parking for each quarter that is deposited. The twelve hour meters require the user to deposit a minimum of twenty quarters or a token before any time will show on the meter.
TOKENS
Tokens are sold at the RPA Office in packs of 5 or 10.
